Trying to remove colored flicker from LED lights on live shoot footage from DVX
I figured out that I was supposed to set the synchro scan rate to match the lights after the fact I realized that emitted light like a computer monitor. But now my footage has this horrible annoying colored flickered strobe effect to it due to the lights not being synched to the cams. How would I alter this in post in FCP? I know I can do it next time at this venue with some setup, but after the fact…I have no idea. PLEASE HELP…its for a burlesque troop

I remember a thread on this problem in the Apple Discussions from a while ago. I just searched over there, but did not find it. I’ll try to summarize what I remember.
First the painstaking, awful way.
Step through your footage frame by frame, and see if you can identify the pattern. How many times does the footage change before the cycle starts again?
Choose a reference frame

It can be done. You have two choices:
1. Slog through it, frame by frame, as Tom has described. (There are many ways of approaching this in AE; they all bite.)
2. Hire someone to do it for you. (You will only resent the tedium.)Okay, three choices:
3. Reshoot. (Probably easier and cheaper.)Wait, four. You have a fourth choice:
