Question. I’m having this noise problem in a particular area of about 1/4 of the clips. I used neat video but the noise still persists in this area. I got rid of it in a few clips by making an asset in photoshop the size of the area where the noise is and just laying it over, which worked. the problem is in some of the clips the area is blocked by the girls hair. Do you know of an after effects fix for this. Maybe taking the same asset and and blurring it out around her hair and tracking the erase? or something? maybe another option? here is a reference: (the area is the wall between the two characters) https://vimeo.com/74056754 password: Imakefilms12!

    Thanks!!

I think you’re on the right track with putting a blurred copy of the video on top and just use a feathered mask to isolate the noisy part. It doesn’t look like the noise intersects her hair so it should be fairly easy to mask it.

could use the roto brush to mask out her hair if it moves over the noisy spot as well…
