  • Trying to read Mac DVD on Windows…is it possible?

In the attempt to improve my abilities and gain more knowledge in video editing, I purchased the book by Michael Wohl called “The Craft of Editing with Final Cut Pro.”

Granted, I use Sony Vegas 11 on a Windows machine, but when I read a review of the book on Amazon, someone said that the book is more about the “process” of editing, rather than what keystrokes to press in FCP, so I purchased the book, which came with a couple of DVDs.

Problem is, I can’t read the DVDs on my PC Windows laptop. It just shows as them as empty with 0 bytes.

So, my question is, can you read DVDs (which I guess were obviously created on a Mac) on a Windows machine?

If not, does anyone know if the DVD files are available anywhere online for download?

    Thank you.
