    Hi

I want to make an emitter which looks like rain falling down – as if you are looking down on a scene from up in the sky, so the rain is coming in from all sides of the scene and falling into the middle of the scene. The sort of effect I want is similar to the motion of ‘warp lines in 01’ (in 06:09 in the emitter library) but with raindrops rather than continuous lines.

I’ve tried changing the properties of the ‘warp lines’ emitter and also tried to alter the properties of a rain emitter but I can’t figure out how to change either to give the desired effect.

Any help would be much appreciated.
    Thanks
    Karen

I’m working on the June library right now so I’ll see what I can come up with. It should be released by Wed. at the latest.

    Thanks Alan, that’s excellent news.

By the way, I also tried altering the ‘into snow area’ emitter but I can’t get a particle to look like rain rather than snow. If you have any ideas on that one, I’d be grateful (that’s only if you don’t manage to do a rain emitter for the new library).

    Thanks
    Karen
