  Trying to make a Clay Planet

  I’m really impressed with this promo by HippieHouse Studio and wanted to try and emulate their planet look.

  

  I made a couple attempts but couldn’t get the look I was going for the way the land is wrapped on top of the water. I may be overcomplicating things as it seems fairly simple enough.

  Any thoughts on how you would approach this?
