Hi everyone, I’m new here, so apologies if I do something that’d normally be frowned upon when posting etc. but basically, I’m only just getting into Indesign, and the great facility of Nested Styles had been brought to my attention via a series of podcasts by Michael Murphy. I even went and ordered his book, Adobe Indesign Styles, problem is I still can’t quite get my head around the concept fully, although I am getting there.

The one thing I’m stuck on presently is I’m trying to create a bulleted list – first a bullet, then tabbed to some BOLD RED TEXT, then a carriage return and another tab to another line, but this time in BOLD BLACK TEXT. After that a space then the process repeats. The attached image should make more sense than I just did hopefully. Can anyone explain the correct nested style instructions I need to enter to make this work?

Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

    JH
