Trying to get markers to return to main menu

I think what you’re looking for is “End Action”. Set the Command to LINK and the Destination to your main menu.

First of all, I am presuming that you use DVD Architect, which allows you to create a scene selection menu, and that you have each menu item set up to play from a particular marker. You should then be able to set the End Action for that menu item to return to the menu rather than continuing to play through the end of the video.

Check the manual / online help for “Adding a Scene Selection Menu” and then the subsection about one that returns to the scene selection menu after each chapter.

Essentially, what you’re going to do is add the same movie to the project multiple times and change the In / Out point for each copy. That will turn each chapter into a full-fledged media item. And DVD Architect will reference the same file for each copy, so you don’t have to worry about it using extra space.

I dont think thats what im looking for. Unless you know a way to set end action on individual chapter markers in a video. I only know how to do that to an entire video file. Im doing weddings and home movie transfers. When i have a multiple chapter scene selection, say 10 for example, i need to know if there is a way to select one chapter of that scene selection and when it hits the chapter marker for the next chapter it goes back to the selection menu, instead of just play all subsuquent chapters in that media file. Is there a way to do that? Would I need to render all chapter as individual files to do that?
