I tried exporting my movie directly out of Premiere as an flv but I don’t like the quality I am getting on the text. I then exported the movie using proRes and brought it into Sorenson Squeeze. I get excellent compression and clarity, but I can’t seem to keep the alpha. Does anyone know how I can get a good export out of Premiere with an alpha that I can bring into Sorenson?

Ok, I’ve now read that Premiere doesn’t have the same ProRes Codec as FCP for alpha support. I’ve tried using the animation codec, png, and none as part of quicktime at 32 bit. I do get an alpha exported but now it has jaggies all around the speaker. I don’t see the jaggies in my preview window in Premiere though. If anyone has any tips or suggestions on how to improve this I’m open to them…

Are you using cs 5.5? Alpha support is supposedly fixed.
