Trying to figure out a portable field setup. Perhaps someone can confirm that my setup is sound.
Ok im trying to put together a portable rackmount field recording setup. I have hardware here in mind that i believe will work however i’d just like to double check here, or if anyone has a better way to set this up or better hardware that would be awesome.
Currently have a Canon EOS 5d Mark III – Magic Lantern software and a canon EOS 5d MarkII
Planning on hooking it all together.

SDI running from the converter to the AJA IoXT.
SDI out from the IoXT to the HyperDeck Studio Pro and SDI out from the Studio Pro to the Smartview HD.Interchangeable setup if i want to review recordings or whatnot or review it directly from the AJA IoXT (not sure how much color accuracy is lost between 4:2:2 and 4:4:4)
Either way wondering if i could get some opinions on this setup. If its feasible or is there a better way to wire them etc etc.
Thanks in advance!
