trying to do a text document effect
I took a screenshot of a paragraph on a website that I liked. I wanted to import that into FCP and then do that effect where the whole rest of the document is greyish except for the words you wanted to highlight would be normal. I tried this and wasn’t getting much progress. First, when I imported the .png image, the words were blurry. Not sure why. I tried to do the effect anyway using an image mask but I guess that wont work too well either. Any thoughts?

You should re-create the page in higher resolution first.
