Trying to create a benchmark list for AE computers
Hey everyone. For long I have been wondering about different computers performances in After Effects, since that’s what I work in the most.
So I have set up a small project file with a 20 sec. composition containing solids with different effects.
It’s all explained in the link below, but in short, open my benchmark project, render it and post the time it took, then I can post it on the web page. This can make it easier for people to see where their own system should fit in, and troubleshoot if it differs to much.This is just a first version, I want to see how it works out. I’m planning to update this in regular intervals, so feel free to come up with suggestions for future tests.
