    Hello,

I am new. I would like to learn this program and am now experimenting with some effects. What I am trying to do is post some graphics with transparent backgrounds on my IMVU page. The problem is there are a few things I’m not sure how to do.

First the PI I have is trial and the viewer seems to be missing or ??something. I tried to change bg/background to transparent but the alpha is greyed out during the export. Then I tried to put a bg behind the sparkle trail effect and export but the image size is too large to use on profile page since nds to be less 100k. When I scale down it looks too grainy.

So I guess I need to know how to change size before I export also. I am new so apologies if I’m not giving enough info. : )

Don’t use AVI unless you use a lossless codec like HuffYUV or Lagarith, both of which are available for free download from various websites.

The “Save Alpha” option is only available when you’re saving a format that supports it: PNG, TGA, or AVI when using specific codecs (HuffYUV, Lagarith, or uncompressed — although I don’t recommend uncompressed).
