Trying to connect a G3 & G4
I am trying to connect a G3 and a G4. I have a G3 tower I am trying to connect to my G4 so that I can add files to it from the G4. Could someone please help me. I was told that if I connected the two with a firewire and held down the letter t on the g3 when I started it up, it would appear on my G4 desktop. This did not work. I appreciate any help anyone can give me.

Here are instructions and a list of compatible computers. Your problem is that the G3 can not be used as a target.
