  troubles tweeking motion tracking

  i have been using after effects for the past year almost, and i must say i have learned a lot from andrew kramer from videocopilot.net. i have a few questions regarding motion tracking. is there a better plug-in that i can use for this, and if not, how can i get the best out of the standard one. it doesnt seem to be working for me that well. the first few frames go smoothly, and then all of a sudden it shifts to the other side of the screen without warning, its really weird and i know that its not supposed to be like that. any suggestions?
