  Troubles Importing .aec

  Hey all-
  I’m suddenly having issues importing .aec files. I haven’t updated anything or made any changes (that I’m aware of anyway) but suddenly my AE isn’t importing aec files. I double checked to make sure my C4DPlugin.plugin file is in the correct folder, and it is. I scoured made sure I had the latest version of the plugin, and by everything I can find, I do. I was literally using it just a couple days ago and it worked fine. I created a new comp for testing purposes and it doesn’t work. Thinking it was something wrong with my new aec file, I tried importing one the ones I made a couple weeks ago that I have been working on, and I can’t get that to import either. It is behaving as if the plugin isn’t in the correct folder. When I get to the browser screen to navigate to the file I want to import, I click okay, and the browser goes away, and nothing happens.

  Anyone else having issues with this? All of the help I can find in forums is dated back to this time last year, nothing current and I’ve tried all of the suggestions and fixes, but nothing seems to work.
