    Hello Forum,
I was running some tests last week on a couple of systems with Tiger and FCP 5. We updated all drivers etc. One system a dual 2.0 with 2.5 Gig RAM, and Huge Drive array in HD turbo mode, and Decklink HD pro could not capture clips with out dropping frames. I think it was a sync issue because when looking at monitor taking the HD-SDI out of the Card through an HD Link there were black lines in the left third of the screen. Couldn’t get rid of this despite switching HD links.

On the Other system A dual 2.5 with 4 gigs of RAM capture was possible 1080 23.98 10 bit by the way. But Captures had a strange noise in the picture There were bands of black noise at the top and bottom of the image. It is very suubtle but was apparent on every clip we captured. (I have a still frame of this if it helps)

The Decklink HD pros have been working great in 10.3.x with FCP 4. I woul really like to get FCP 5 up and running to take advantage of the 10-bit color space in FCP 5. Has anyone used FCP5 in 10.3 for HD 10-bit material?

I realize the Deckllink driver is still a beta and there for still needs some tweaking. If there is something I am missing here or some trick to get FCP 5 up and running in Tiger please let me know.

    Thanks,
    Grant Keiner.
