Trouble with playback in AVID when AE is also open
Hey guys I was wondering if any of you had run into this problem before. If i have after effects open in one monitor and Avid open in the other monitor I get a playback timeout error in avid when I try to watch a sequence. I’m pretty sure it’s due to some sort of video priority issues where the computer is getting messed up with priorities or something.
Everything works fine if i close after effects, this has persisted through many restarts for a long time now. I generally just close one or the other but it would be nice to not have to work around it like that. I’ve googled it but didn’t get much useful info so I was hoping one of you guys may have a solution or similar experience.

The sounds plays back, but the video doesn’t and after about 10 seconds i get this error. Any help is appreciated
