Trouble with minor import issue
hi friends!
minor issue is major for me. i’m very new to AE so a busy pro AE friend offered help pinning a sign on a 15 sec bw shot of two moving trucks. he sent the just completed aep in an e-mail which when i open shows the tracking elements (moving beautifully!) in color bars. i tried a few things such as reload but nothing happens. i know a very basic step is missing in linking this to the original clip. is this enough info for some help here? even in the help section i’m not quite sure where to look.

Double-click on the missing element in the Project Window.
