    Trouble with HD video and widescreen

    I’m working with HD video 1440×1080. In the viewer it fills the screen but when i place it on the timeline it becomes widescreen with black bars. I’ve tried adjusting the sequence settings with bad results. I’ve worked with this type of video before with no problems, what am i doing wrong?

    That is most likely an HDV clip. Did you try an Easy Setup for HDV ?

    Don’t set everything manually. Use an Easy Setup.
