    Hi!

    I’m working with a camera moving from different positions. The camera first moves from point A to point B, then C, D etc. standing in position 2 seconds at each point.

    This is no problem while animation the moves. The problem gets there when reanimating points.

    When I already have a camera with movements, and then want to change them, what happens when you have two keypositions that are simliar (IN-point to POSITIONS A and OUT-POINT to POSITION B) is that the camera doesn’t stand still between the points, but make some movements that are not specified in the keypoints. THIS is A LOT ANNOYING.

    Hope you understand what I meant. I make a nother example just in case. AT TIME: 00:00:00:00 = X: 100 Z: 200 Y: 400
    AT TIME: 00:00:02:00 = X: 100 Z: 200 Y: 400. PROBLEM: Camera make unwanted moves between these keys.

    Any suggestions?

    It is most like due to bezier points. Click on the pen tool, k on down to the next keyframe, click that keyframed point in the window (not the timeline). You should see a little curved line disappear. Hope this helps

    I didn’t really find anything to remove while doing this. The thing is, that extra keypoint AE is creating, seems impossible to find, because it isn’t there. The camera makes a movement based on a visible keypoint between two real points.

    use HOLD keyframes on keyframes with same values, then it doesn’t matter if there is a little bezier curve between the points. there are no invisible keypoints. zoom way in and you’ll see the unwanted bezier curve. it took me forever to get my head around this too. there are lot’s of ways to avoid this, but hold keyframes are the most straight forward to me at least. hope this helps /d

    This question has been answered hundreds of times before.

    As said: Use Hold keyframes.

    If you do want a little subtle predictable movement between two keyframes that are _almost_ identical, use linear spatial interpolation.
