    Trouble with Boris Unlock Code

    Hi Everyone,

    I just recently upgraded to a MacPro for my FCP system. When I re-installed Boris RED 4.1, I needed a new unlock code, which the good folks from Boris sent me. The trouble is that everytime I start up Boris, even when I’m using it in Plug-in mode from FCP, I have to re-enter the unlock code or it runs in demo mode. (with the big X across the screen)
    Has anyone else run across this problem?

    Quad MacPro 2.66 3G/RAM/ OS 10.4.9
    Kona LHe
    CalDigit S2VR 1.6

    Sounds like a system wide permissions issue preventing the license code from persisting – you might want to send an email to our support staff describing the issue so that they can assist you in resolving the problem. You can contact them at support@borisfx.com.

    Thanks, Peter for your response. I’ve actually sent a couple to Boris support this week, but I haven’t heard anything back. I’ll look into my permissions.
