    FCP 6.0.4, MacPro 2.66, 5GB ram, OS 10.4.11

A client brought some footage to me on SDMC card shot with a Panny HMC-150 (I think… looks like an HVC-200 but lighter and records only to cards, no tape.)

When I bring the footage in through log and transfer, things appear to be fine at first, but some clips show digital noise (looks like tape dropout) and the audio slips out of sync after about 30 seconds and gets worse over the length of a clip… very much like the old clock rate issue with film transferred to tape.

When the client brings the footage into his system, everything is fine.

The client installed FCP onto his second system and experienced the same trouble as I did.

Media copied from his good project to my system looks fine and stays in sync.

    Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

What version does it work properly on? It may be a bug that was fixed in 6.0.5 or perhaps you have an older buggy version of quicktime.
