  • Trouble with audio on 6.5 pro

I just recently got my AF 6.5 PRO. However I got a big problem that whenever I import a movie into my timeline I can not hear the audio but can only watch the movie. I tried to mess around with it and found out that I can hear the audio by right click on time line then preview then audio preview (here forward or work area). The problem is I want to watch the video and hear the audio at the same time. Any help would be greatly appreciate 🙁

Make sure the audio switch is turned on in the Time Controls window and do a RAM preview. Be sure to set the audio preview duration to more than the default 8 seconds in the user preferences.

Check to make sure that the Work Area is covering the composition.

Go to the start of the comp and press B, then go to the end and press N.
