  Trouble when importing filmstrip – memory error

  “The importer reported memory errors”
  That’s the error message I get when I want to import a filmstrip that I had previously exported from the very same project, with the purpose of editing the individual frames in Photoshop (rotoscoping). However, when I save thef ile in photoshop as a filmstrip and try to import it again in Premiere Pro, the above error is what I get.

  I’ve tried creating filmstrips and importing it without altering anything as a test, and it worked. Apparently, the moment I edit them in photoshop and save them, they become incompatible? This is very awkward. Besides, what does memory have to do with this at all?
  I’ve rebooted my computer before attempting the same procedure, and it didn’t help.

  Does anybody have a solution to this? I don’t mind if it means repeating the work I’ve done in photoshop, as long as I can get a permanent solution to this problem.
