Trouble when going to build DVD
I’m using version 1. I hvae created several menus and have checked my links in preview. Everything seams to be going as planned. Now I want to put it all on a disc. I went to build DVD. I inserted a disc. It recognized my DVD burner which is a Sony. The disc I’m using is a brand new DVD-RW. I click on next and the program just sits there. Then sometimes and error comes up that there’s no media, or I get Device status unknown and the tray opens. Other times I get an error that says: waiting for disc to be ready,(high level error -1017)
Does anyone have any ideas or if I’m missing something. This project has to be ready by Saturday. Thanks for any help.

Which model Sony burner?
Have you tried using a DVD-R instead of -RW?
Or if it is a very early Sony model it may be that it can only burn DVD+R or DVD+RW. -
Did you have any luck with this problem? I’m having the same issue I believe. I’m trying to burn a dual layer disc though. But I’m definitely using a DL burner that I have successfully burned dual layer dvd’s with. I tried using Nero to burn the ISO and it thinks that my blank discs are not blank.
