  Trouble w/ wipe in CS4

  I’ve applied a linear wipe to the titles in a movie I’m working on (see attached clip). I’ve precomp’d the titles (animated with the Raining Characters In preset) on a black solid layer, then applied the wipe effect to the comp (you can see the setup in the uploaded screenshot). Everything works fine until the wipe gets to the “s” in “Emery’s” (8:16, 66% indicated completion) at which point it jumps to completion, even though indicated completion at the next frame (8:17) is only 67% completion. How can I fix this? I’m a newb so I assume I’m doing something wrong. Thanks.
