    Trouble Transcoding MC552

    Hello,

    I’m looking to AMA transcode a bunch of clips, however I can’t seem to change the resolution to anything but 1:1 10b RGB MXF. All of the other options are greyed out. I went to Media Creation and the Title generator, etc, were all set the same way.

    I would like to do DNX36 for these dailies, of course.

    Make sure the project is not set to RGB. Once you set it back, the other resolutions will re-appear. A little silly that project type still defines codec – seems like selecting a codec selection could temporarily enable whatever it needs in the background to do what it needs to do making it easier for first time users.

    Thanks for your response Michael.

    I didn’t set it back to YUV from RGB, but I just reset Avid and it made the options come back. Strange little bug.

    I originally set the project to RGB because I’m working with canon files. Is this incorrect?
