  Trouble outputting to consumer camera

  I am editing on FCP 5.0.4 and I’m trying to use my consumer camcorder (Sony DCR HC52) to output the video to. The problem is that the video comes out jerky and unusable. When I hook up the Sony VX-2100 I use at work, it works perfectly. Same settings for both cameras.

  Could simply be a case of the DCR not being good enough to use but I hope I just need to tweak some settings.
