Trouble Offloading P2 Card via 1394 Port
So I have been attempting to offload my HVX200 AP via Firewire and have been running into an issue. When I switch the camera over to the ‘PC-DUB’ Mode, the computer does not recognize the camera has been connected. At first I thought it may’ve been the port itself on the camera or my MBP, but I’m thinking otherwise now. I’m starting to suspect a software problem, I can still capture Mini-DV footage via firewire which helps support the theory. Anyone run into anything similar or have any suggestions?

Hello, I am new here. Did you ever figure out the answer to the question? Also, what exactly do you use to record the streaming mini dv stream? Adobe Premiere? I literally only have 330 minutes, I thought it was going to be easier dealing with this. I have mac and pc so I think Ill be able to handle it. I just need to know where the firmware upgrades are for the camera AG-HVX200p. Well good luck,to you as well.
