Trouble importing in Avid
I’m working in Snow Leopard on a MacBook Pro and have been using Avid Media Composer for a while. Never had any trouble importing before until one day I get the messege: No media drives available, you can only import shot logs.
I’ve been checking the forums and tried a couple thing.. First of I unticked the boxes in Media Creation as suggested here:
https://community.avid.com/forums/t/70100.aspx
When that didn’t work I tried the read and write solution as suggested here:
https://forums.creativecow.net/readpost/45/873637
No luck there either.. I do suspect though that it could have something to do with my Boot Camp partition. Because after I get the error messege I get the import box which has Boot Camp listed as default for video and audio drive. And I can’t manage this since it’s “unclickable”. Is there some way to set Macintosh HD as default?
Also in Import Settings under Media Creation it says “All drives filtered out” if that helps someone find a solution..
Thanks in advance for help
