trouble getting values from another composition
hi
i created a composition with a bird character and i want to control the angle of the bird’s head from within the main composition.
so I pulled the bird composition into the main composition and added an angle expression control effect and pickwhipped the head rotationin the bird comp to the angle control in the main comp.Now this works fine as long as i do not add any keyframes. when i change the value of the angle control the heads rotation adjusts. but as soon as i add a keyframe, it it does not work anymore.
any ideas
this expression is on the birds head in the "bird_comp"comp("Animatic_01").layer("bird_comp").effect("Head")("Angle")
the angle controler is on the "bird_comp" in the composition "Animatic_01"

Hmmm… I’m not sure what the problem could be. It works fine for me with keyframes.
