Trouble exporting still images from Final Cut Pro 7
I have a still image (that’s a jpeg) that can be seen in the sequence in final cut but when I export it the image doesn’t show up. I have other images (that are tiff files)in the sequence that do show up. What could be the problem?

Hi Meghan,
While I’m not sure why this happens (i’ve experience it myself on a couple of occasions, but haven’t taken the time to track down the answer), if you can save the image as another format, it should clear up the problem. I had a tiff that wouldn’t show up, so I change it to .pict and it worked fine.
Pict format is my fall back for just about anything, works well with Mac’s.
I’ve also had success even doing a ‘save as’ with the original still image and it fixed the problem.Good Luck,
