  Trouble exporting large file

  I have a DELL and I am using AVID Xpress Pro (the Academic version). I also have Quicktime version 6.5 on my computer. I am trying to export an hour long timeline into a quality quicktime file, but I have had several problems. Mostly pixelation and serrated edges on moving parts of the video. I’ve used the DV/DVC pro setting, Animation setting, and Sorrenson 3 setting and they all give me low quality video (especially the DV setting). I don’t see the low quality on the AVID monitor when the timeleine is playing. Basically I’m trying to get a quicktime file out so I can make a DVD. Can you suggest anything?
