    trouble changing pixel dimensions

    Hello.

    I am trying to capture HDV footage from a sony fx1 into FCP. I want to capture the footage at 1920×1080, but the footage keeps getting captured at 1440×1080. How can the dimensions be changed? I’ve tried system settings and audio/video settings with no success.

    That’s correct.
    the 1440×1080 pixels of HDV are HD pixels.
    That produce the same picture size and aspect of 1980×1080 Square pixels.
