Trouble capturing from XL-2 to FCP6

Hi to all,
I’ve recently jumped up from FCExpress 2 to FCP6. Using my Canon XL-2 as player has worked until today. FCP controls camera and shows TC, but no video in capture window. FCP sez there’s no video when I try to capture.

I tested Firewire cable with old laptop with FCE 2 and worked fine. Any ideas????

Easy Setup is on DV-NTSC; switching to DV Firewire Basic doesn’t help.
