    Hello,

I’m trying to capture footage from a Panasonic AG-DVX100A at 24P in Final Cut Pro 5.1.4. This is the first time I’ve tried to capture from this camera and I’m wondering if I’m missing something, as I’ve been unable to capture anything onto my hard drive. Instead, I continue to get the following message:

‘WARNING: You are about to capture non drop-frame media to a drop-frame clip. If you proceed, you may experience changes in logged in and out points, problems relinking media, or removal of master clip relationships.’

I’ve never seen this error message before, but then again, I’ve been capturing from an older 3-chip Panasonic camera for years. Any idea(s) what the problem could be? Is it the camera? Do I need to change a setting somewhere? (Am currently capturing at 24 frames a second.) What does this error message even mean? What is no drop-frame media vs. drop-frame..?

In advance, thanks for all of your help!

    Cheers.
