    I’m going to Australia/New Zealand in 2 weeks
    I’m taking my new HVX200 with a firestore 100

    Is there a good tripod for this camera that will collapse and fit inside a large suitcase?
    I’ve maxed out my carryons – any suggestions?

    I will using a varicam rock also

    Not sure what you’re considering a “large” suitcase. Something collapsable isn’t going to be high quality. What’s your budget? If you get your tripod through a pro video store chances are they can also sell you a shipping case. They’re shipped all the time. Just check it on like you do your baggage.

    Libec TH-M20 for the money it is decent I have one with my HVX and i like it a lot it has fluid head. Its not high hend but you get a lot of bang for the buck….
