Trimming
Hi,
I’ve got some footage thats about 2mins, but I only want 20 secs of it. I’ve trimmed the layer, but when I move the playback handle thing past where I wanted the layer to end its still visible. I want to crop the whole thing entirely so its only the 20 secs i’ve selected. I’ve included a picture to hopefully illustrate what I mean.
I’ve tried searching out a solution but couldn’t find anything as i’m new and still a bit unsure of the terminology.

That seems pretty weird. Maybe you can set in and out points where you want them, trim the comp to work area, then precompose it. Just guessing that may get rid of the problem

It looks like you were looking at the layer window, rather than the composition window(from you screen shot) and that’s why you would still see stuff that you trimmed.
