Trimmer/clip length issue
So I was using pro 9 on my old machine and made the jump to pro 10 since I got a good deal on it.
In pro 9 when I had my clip in the trimmer window I would simply use “I” and “O” and drag that portion of the clip to the timeline. When I did that if I stretched the video I would get the v at the top of the clip signifying the end of the clip. I found this very usefull for changing the speed of a clip via properties and then drag the clip to the proper length/to the v on the clip.
On pro 10 that no longer happens. When I duplicate the process above I don’t get the v till I get to the end of the original clip.
Now I know I can make it work like above using the subclip feature but thats another process and I deal in multiple small clips that I only take small chunks out of. I have spent a few hours reading and looked everyplace in the preferences and I simply can’t find a place to change it–unless thats a change with pro 10.
Any help would be apreciated…
