Trimmer window: making same size as media??

No. The trimmer is just a reference and always scales to whatever size you make the window.

For the Video Preview just right-click and UNSELECT Scale Video to Fit Preview Window and then change your preview to (Full) and you’ll get 100% pixel for pixel. The secondary display has a similar option by unchecking Scale Output to Fit Display.

Yes, in Vegas terms it’s whatever you have selected in Options | Preferences | Preview Device.
