Trimmer tool in Sony Vegas – Please help
I can’t seem to use the Trimmer feature that it has. It worked once, and I dragged it as a separate box to the side, and now I can’t find it, no matter how many times I go to View >> Trimmer. When I go to the media bin and right click on videos to “Open in Trimmer”, nothing comes up. Has anyone had this problem?

I think your window has been lost amongst the docked windows. Try returning to the default window layout under the view menu.

It sounds like the trimmer window is off-screen somewhere. You might try resetting the window layout back to the default (View | Window Layouts | Load Default Layout). If that doesn’t work then you may have to reset your entire configuration by holding down the Ctrl+Shift keys while you start Vegas. WARNING! this will reset all of your preferences to the defaults just like the first time Vegas was installed. This may or may not be desirable depending on how much you have customized Vegas.
