Trimmer and RAM
I’m cutting pieces out of shot using the trimmer….I see there are heaps of shots listed in the trimmer list top left. Are these shots listed here blowting the system- are they taking up ram? vegas 9 is using 400 mb of ram at present.
If I delete this list, will I damage my timeline and will it free up ram?

I wouldn’t worry about the list. It’s just a bunch of references, they don’t do anything while you’re editing. You can delete it if you want, it’s nothing to do with the timeline, it’s just a list of what you last opened in the trimmer.
