  Trim Window Close Crashes Premiere Pro 2.0

  My version of Premier Pro 2.0, Production Studio works fine except for the following oddity. I open the Trim window from the Program view by clicking on the Trim button. The dual windowed Trim panel opens, and I do my edit without incident, however; when I click the X to close the Trim window Premiere closes, with no error message, it just closes. It closes both on old projects and new ones. Can anyone help me with this issue? I tried reinstalling just Premiere Pro from my Production Studio disc, but that did not fix the problem.

  Socket 940
  X800 GT PCI-E Graphics Card
  4 Gig of Ram
  Raid 5
  Dual Samsung 22″ SyncMaster 224BWs
