Trim Paths question
When I’m using trim paths, the path moves in a rotation across my shape layer instead of in a straight line. I’m not sure how to fix that. Can someone let me know what I’m doing wrong?

I’m not sure that I know exactly what you’re describing but it sounds like the behavior you’d see when using Trim Paths on a shape that’s using a Fill.
Trim Paths is generally useful on shapes that only have Strokes.

Hi Darby, yes I am using Trim Paths on a shape layer with a fill. That’s helpful. I guess that’s my problem. I’ll try using a mask instead.
