  • Trim layer with ‘alt – bracket’ not exact on timeline

Posted by Ed Home on September 10, 2014 at 12:01 pm

    Hi,

Does anybody know how to solve this annoying ‘problem’…

When I use the option ‘alt-bracket’ at the end of the layer where I want to trim, it’s not trimmed exactly at the timeline but always 1 frame to the right. Can this be solved that it will be trimmed at the exact position of the timeline.

Hope somebody can help me 🙂

    Thx
    Edith

It is trimmed at the frame/location of the Timeline Indicator. The additional space to the right of the layer defines the frame. A frame/timecode is visually defined at the start of its frame/timecode, until the its end, which coincides with the start of another frame/timecode.

    Sense make?

    Cheers
