    Triggering animation/composition with a keystroke

    I have two compositions/animations, A and B.

    I play the “A”.

How can I, at some point, play the “B” part with a keystroke? For instance, Left Arrow.

    Thanks in advance.

Are you trying to output some realtime graphics or what is your use case here?

After Effects is not made for a realtime playback sort of scenario like you describe. Adobe Character Animator, however, is! You can toggle between whole scenes with a keystroke as you request.
