Trigger animation with layer marker
This ? is for dan regarding his trigger animation with layer markers code, i think ive finally broken it down enough that im starting to grasp it but had a question, would there be anyway to recall the same pre-comped single layer marker twice with 2 main comp markers of the same name?

Ah, yes – that’s the whole idea. Trigger the precomp animations whenever and as often as you’d like.

i must be doing something wrong then because (ive just rebuilt my own simplified scenario to grasp the fundamentals) my precomp is a circle scaling big to small, as well as a couple position moves…but i can only recall them once. I add my scale marker to my main comp and it works perfectly, but if i add another scale marker down the timeline i get no response, even if i bring that second scale marker before the first one in time, the original will be the only one to trigger the animation.

Hmmmm… Unfortunately, that’s a tricky one to set up, so there could be any number of problems. Can you post a screen shot of the timelines for the main comp and precomp (or even better – send me your project file via my website).
