I am using an illustrator world map file and instead of using a 3d camera i am animating the layer’s scale and anchor point to simulate camera moves around the map. All of this was working splendidly but recently instead of moving from point a on the map to point b in a linear fashion (when animating scale and anchor) AE interpolates the movement into a weird arc. basically it creates a bezier path when there was none. granted i’m using easy ease keyframes but i still don’t understand the relationship between interpolated time and motion. linear keyframes also allow the bezier interpolation to occur. hope this made even a little sense,

Try selecting the problem keyframes and changing the spatial interpolation to linear either by Command clicking (PC: Control) on the keyframes or selecting the keyframes and choosing KEYFRAME INTERPOLATION from the ANIMATION MENU.
