I am wondering how two of the below videos are made?

On the first video I thought that they were using trapcode 3d stroke…but im not sure. Can anyone give me a little insight on how these videos were made. I am curious about the colorful lines, is it possible to make them in after effects?

I think this has been covered in the tutorials section. Check Aharon’s tutorials as well as Andrew Kramers. I know you can achieve this effect with Trapcode Particular or any other particle generator where you can keyframe the particle emitter and particles per second.

    Hope this helps

The first one could be done by (round about) applying tracking data to a light and using particular.

I know the second video was done using practical effects. They used long exposures and lots of people with light pens. They really wanted the organic feel it gave. Some of the later spots in the campaign used post effects and it just didn’t look the same.
