Tricky Audio Track – Can’t Edit Audio track
So, I had an audio track that I could not move, select, edit or cut….
THEN I found out why. Hopefully this will help others 🙂
if the track is set to show CLIP keyframes you can edit the track
If the track is set to show TRACK keyframes, you can’t edit the track

Can get a bit confusing:
If its set to Show Clip Keyframes you can edit the audio clips but not the audio track.
If its set to Show Track Keyframes you can edit the audio track but not the audio clips.———————————————–

Yeah, this seems to be a new “feature”. Was trying to keyframe an audio clip last night but the keyframe button was grayed out. I accidentally stumbled upon that dropdown that lets you change the setting. But then my keyframe extended to infinity past the clip and no way to trim it back. Luckily it doesn’t cause the entire sequence to extend the length of the keyframe line.
Was this feature totally necessary!!
